Our successes belong in large part to you, our supporters, who champion the boundless potential of our students.
From creating novel biopolymers to making advances in quantum computing to discovering the ages of stars in other galaxies, students across the college made sizeable contributions as undergraduate researchers thanks to Giving Day support of the Samuel D. Hakes Memorial Fund last year. We invite you to help us continue to grow opportunities for hands-on, real-world student experiences by making a donation to the fund this year.
We are also excited to introduce an opportunity to support STEM and Career and Technical learning for school-age students through the Innovation Wyrkshop Mobile Makerspace, which delivers a treasure trove of state-of-the-art equipment and innovative lesson plans to rural, underserved communities across Wyoming.
From 3D printing to laser cutting, circuit-building, machining, wood-working, and design, the Mobile Makerspace brings hands-on STEM, STEAM and career and technical learning opportunities into classrooms which may not otherwise have access to these technologies.
Following a highly successful grant-funded pilot period during which the Mobile Makerspace served over 32,000 K-12 students in 29 communities across the state, the Makerspace needs your support to keep up the momentum.
Give the gifts of creativity, empowerment, experimentation, exploration, self-reliance, hands-on learning, and marketable skill development by supporting the mission of the Mobile Makerspace this Giving Day!
