This Giving Day, help us "Rock Their World" by supporting hands-on geoscience education for young learners.
The Geological Museum is expanding its free Pre-K-12 educational programming with weekly hands-on summer activities and our new Wild About Rocks Wednesdays monthly program, while continuing beloved events like Wyoming Rocks and the Fossil Fish Festival. Kids can excavate fossils, hunt for minerals in ant-pile dirt, make bracelets with real gemstones, build volcanoes, paint fossil casts, create rock identification kits, experiment with water tables, and much more. These programs are possible thanks to our new Education Specialist, Mrs. Jess, whose creativity and enthusiasm are helping us reach more young learners than ever before.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our growing educational programs, including activity materials and our Education Specialist. We anticipate welcoming approximately 600 children to our new weekly and monthly programs this year. The average cost for programs is just $15 per child, and your gift can directly provide a young learner with a memorable hands-on science experience-completely free to participating families.
Help us inspire curiosity, encourage discovery, and rock the world of Wyoming's next generation of scientists!
