The University of Wyoming is committed to supporting Native American student success through a variety of programs and initiatives. Your contribution helps us provide the resources and experiences to support Native students on their academic journeys.
The University of Wyoming sits upon the ancestral lands of the Cheyenne, Arapaho, Crow, and Shoshone Indigenous peoples, along with other Native tribes who call the Great Basin and Rocky Mountain region home. The United States recognizes Indigenous peoples from 574 federally recognized tribal nations and 75 state-recognized tribes. Currently, UW students have ties to the Wind River Reservation and more than 10 other tribes.
