The Sky People Higher Education Scholarship, established in 2019 by Sky People Higher Education, supports Northern Arapaho students at the University of Wyoming. This organization has been promoting postsecondary education for the Northern Arapaho since its founding in 1979.

The Northern Arapaho tribe, located on Wyoming’s Wind River Reservation, believes education is vital for their future—a sentiment echoed by historical leader Chief Black Coal, who advocated for peace and education.
