Housed under the Mechanical Engineering department, Wyoming Motorsports club designs, builds, and races both a hybrid-style car and a BAJA-style car every year across the country in SAE formula student events.
Students in this club gain practical experience with automotive design work as well as hands-on manufacturing experience. Last year, we brought home our second 1st place trophy from the Hybrid/Electric competition in New Hampshire, and we are attending our first-ever BAJA competition in South Carolina.
