AADE's Mission is to provide the forum for the dissemination of practical drilling and well construction technology to those employed or interested in the drilling and well construction industry.
The AADE student chapter at the University of Wyoming aims to provide members with drilling industry experience through guest speakers, site tours, and networking events. As a club, we participate in outreach events to expose members and other engineering students to the drilling industry and other exciting oil and gas related topics.
In the past, the AADE student chapter has used its funding for social and industry-related events. For example, last fall we took a group of students on a tour of drilling and production facilities in Walden, Colorado. This event provided students with an opportunity to network with industry professionals, ask technical questions, and gain real-world experience in the oil and gas industry.
