The Wyoming School-University Partnership cultivates a dynamic and innovative partnership that elevates the quality of teaching and learning in Wyoming's public education system.
We are made up of a collaborative group of Wyoming public education stakeholders including 35 school districts, four education organizations, and a few higher education entities. Through our various initiatives, we work to build teacher and leader development through supporting prospective and current educators as they make Wyoming and the world a better place to live and learn.
Our initiatives include the following.
- District Residency Connections Fair ā Connects College of Education students with member district leaders and education organization personnel to explore potential locations for their future student teaching residency.
- Voices In the Field ā A framework that guides post-secondary pathway transitions.
- Wyoming Classroom Connections Tour ā Provides University of Wyoming College of Education students with an inside look at Wyoming's public schools
We are beginning to build out a few new initiatives that will bolster the educator recruitment pipeline, cooperating teacher supports, and educator feedback mechanisms to help us continue to improve public education in Wyoming.
