The UW Esports Club is an organization that coordinates competitive gaming on campus. We field teams in major games and, in addition, any games that have competitive interest within our organization—Call of Duty, League of Legends, Overwatch, Rocket League, VALORANT, and Apex Legends, among others. We also host a strong casual gaming community.
Our Giving Day campaign supports buying six PCs—five for gaming and one for streaming. This will help us train for when we travel to other schools to compete and will allow us to have equipment to take with us. It is important that the club competitors have good sturdy equipment for these purposes. In addition, this equipment will allow us to stream our weekly events and larger events such as the Border War, Mountain West competitions, and more.
