The purpose of the Ahrey and Tricia Smith Pistol Pete Scholarship is to support and encourage students who serve as Pistol Pete mascots. It is vital support that allows these hard-working student-athletes to be successful on the field and in the classroom.
The fund will provide scholarships to students enrolled in or admitted to the University of Wyoming:
- who serve as a Pistol Pete mascot for intercollegiate athletics and
- who are in good academic standing.
