Pi Kappa Alpha (PIKE) is the fraternity of scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen.
We pride ourselves on always striving to be the most talented, involved, and well-rounded men in each of our over 220 chapters and colonies throughout the U.S. and Canada. The True Pike is a man who upholds the values of integrity, intellect, and high moral character—characteristics that all members of the Iota Alpha Chapter pride themselves on.
The Iota Alpha Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was established at the University of Wyoming in 1986 and began its re-colonization in 2014. Currently the youngest fraternity on campus, PIKE has the opportunity to redefine what it means to be a member of Fraternity Life here at UW. With many of our members working with Big Brothers Big Sisters and a semester full of new and unique events planned, Pikes have a massive opportunity to break the mold while also making a difference.
Pi Kappa Alpha is a social fraternity, creating many friendly and professional connections through brotherhood, social, and alumni events while also providing many continuing education opportunities to help each man better himself and to succeed in school and life. An overall goal of 100% member involvement in intramural, club, or varsity sports, other organizations on campus, and community service and philanthropy events is set to ensure that each member is constantly improving himself and his community.
This spring, the chapter plans to donate time and money locally to Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Animal Shelter, and Emergency Services. National groups benefited will include St. Jude, Bikers Against Child Abuse, Troops and Veterans, and more.
