Meat Judging Team

Today is your day to support the University of Wyoming Meat Judging students! We ask for your help in achieving our goal to secure 75 donors in this year’s Giving Day.

Any donation big or small will support student accommodations and travel expenses in 2026. The team will compete in eight national intercollegiate meat judging contests throughout the year traveling to Colorado, Texas, Pennsylvania, Iowa, and Nebraska. Without your support, students would have the challenge of covering costs on their own. Please help ensure meat judgers have the freedom to travel, compete, and represent UW without financial worry by donating today!

Why can you be proud to support UW Meat Judging students? They spend many hours learning and practicing their skills for evaluating beef, lamb, and pork. In doing so, they are prepared to represent UW on a national stage going head-to-head with more than 120 students from other universities. While competition energizes their journey, personal growth defines their experience. UW meat judgers are asked to be wholly committed to their sport, and this commitment strengthens them as high-achieving students, excellent professionals, and admiral characters.
