Help inspire and prepare the next generation of botanists by giving to the Rocky Mountain Herbarium Excellence Fund. Your gift directly supports hands-on student learning—both in the herbarium and out in the field—while advancing our mission to document and understand the incredible plant diversity of the Rocky Mountains.

As the largest herbarium in the region, we serve as a hub for collections-based research, education, and outreach at the University of Wyoming. Our 1.4 million specimens form an irreplaceable record of the plant and fungal diversity of the Rockies through space and time.

This Giving Day, help us beat last year’s record of 60 donors! Every gift makes a difference—and this year’s funds will directly support graduate student summer research, providing summer stipends and enabling our students to continue vital research on the diversity and distribution of plants throughout the Rocky Mountains.
