Challenges are a great way to show your support. Be the first!
“Unprecedented times” is a phrase that has been overused this year—for good reason. None of us have gone through quite so much upset and change as we have through the last several months.
The number of requests for giving has also been unprecedented due to the difficulties caused by the pandemic. So why would we continue to have UW Giving Day at UW? Why should giving to UW Nursing be on your lists of priorities?
The year 2020 is the Year of the Nurse, named as such before the pandemic took its foothold across the globe. And it has indeed been the Year of the Nurse!
How grateful the whole world has been for nurses and medical professionals! Their work has been essential, and they have been laying their lives on the line to help others.
This is why it is so important that we continue to educate and graduate nurses to meet the new demands of health care. Your gift can make a huge difference. It can support scholarships to help financially struggling nursing students to stay in school.
As always, we are so grateful for your concern and assistance!
