Challenges are a great way to show your support. Be the first!
Please consider supporting student success.
While it’s no surprise that institutions everywhere are struggling during the pandemic, we have found that our students face challenges on a daily basis. Some are really struggling to find their footing in a world that’s been turned upside down. That’s why UW’s sixth annual UW Giving Day (Nov. 12-13) is more important than ever.
As parents, you have concerns about the well-being of your children. As alumni or donors, you want the best for this institution. The Office for Student Success and Graduation shares those same concerns, and our No. 1 priority is providing students with the resources they need.
Given the restrictive nature of daily life now, we’ve discovered that students aren’t as likely to form the personal connections with other students that are so crucial to success in college. We believe establishing peer-to-peer connections is key, and our new Cowboy Coaching program has become a major area of focus for Student Success. With funds from UW Giving Day going to the most-needed areas within Student Success, Cowboy Coaching will be one of the biggest benefactors from UW Giving Day.
This year’s UW Giving Day, with its “24 Means More” theme, provides an opportunity for parents, alumni, and donors to give a gift to the university and the Office for Student Success and Graduation.
Whether your donations are large or small, please know that UW appreciates every effort to help students. To show our dedication to UW Giving Day, UW will match any donations up to $50,000, along with pledging $1,000 specifically to the Office for Student Success and Graduation if we get 25 new donors.
Thank you!
