Cowboy Climbing Club (Student Organization)

The Cowboy Climbing Club is a student-led organization for students to get into climbing and forge lifelong friendships. It’s a space for students to meet other climbers, learn skills, and go climbing.

Wyoming is the home of lots of world-class climbing—from Vedauwoo which is basically in the university’s backyard to fantastic climbing in Lander and the Big Horns. Yearly, we take club members all over the state, giving them opportunities to meet incredible climbers and grow an appreciation for nature and the state.

Becoming a member of the club is cost-free. We cover the cost of equipment rentals and competition registration for club members to keep climbing accessible for all who want to climb. With your support, we will continue the legacy of great climbers from the University of Wyoming.
