Counselor Education Program

Please join us in supporting the next generation of counselors and strengthening access to mental health services in Wyoming through a gift to the UW Counseling Program.

Your support helps us recruit, educate, and prepare counselors for careers in schools, clinical settings, and communities across Wyoming and beyond. Giving Day contributions directly enhance the experiences of our students while also extending the program's impact to the broader community.

Funds from this campaign will support school counseling and mental health counseling scholarships; doctoral students in counselor education and supervision; student research, professional travel, and specialized training opportunities; and other projects that enrich counselor preparation.

Your gift will also support the WellSpring Counseling Clinic, which provides practicum experiences for future mental health counselors while offering free counseling services to members of the public. WellSpring gives students the opportunity to develop their clinical skills under supervision while helping expand access to counseling services in the community.

Giving Day funds will also help support student organizations such as the Mu Nu Tau Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the international counseling academic and professional honor society for counselors-in-training, counselor educators, and professional counselors. These organizations provide students with opportunities for professional development, service, leadership, and connection within the counseling profession.
