Women in Business (Student Organization)

Women in Business is an important organization because it creates a supportive environment where young women can grow personally, professionally, and academically. Our goal is to empower our members by providing opportunities to learn from successful women, to build meaningful connections, and to develop the confidence and skills needed to succeed in their future careers.

We frequently invite guest speakers who are women in leadership and business positions to share their experiences, offer career advice, and provide insight into navigating the workforce, particularly in male-dominated industries. Beyond professional development, we encourage our members to become active and engaged members of the university community through volunteering, giving back, and participating in other campus organizations. We also prioritize building friendships and creating a welcoming environment where members feel comfortable connecting with one another.

Through creative activities, game nights, and collaborative meetings, we strive to make our club more than just a professional organization. As an identity-based organization, we do not receive the same College of Business funding opportunities as other student clubs. Support would make a meaningful difference in helping us provide dinner at our meetings, host engaging activities, bring in inspiring guest speakers, and create more opportunities for our members.
