The University of Wyoming is raising money for a recovery center at the new Aquatic Center. This space will allow the athletes to recover from practices between classes or after intense training sessions. We are looking to purchase products from Hypervolt and Normatec that aid in recovery and will be available for all of the athletes to use.
Additionally, we have new competitors in the Mountain West Conference, specifically the University of Hawaii. The Swimming and Diving Team is planning to compete against Hawaii in the upcoming season, and we want to make sure we are able to send a competitive team to compete against them. Funding will help with travel that is not covered with our budget.
