Philosophy and religion students spend their days on life's biggest questions. Then they carry those questions into hospitals, courtrooms, classrooms, and communities across Wyoming and beyond. Your gift puts them in the rooms where ideas get tested.

It's giving... a stage. Our students present their research at conferences across the country, and more are accepted every year. Travel funding turns an acceptance into a résumé line, a professional network, and real public-speaking experience.

It's giving... big ideas up close. Our colloquium series brings internationally recognized scholars to Laramie. Recent speakers include Marina DiMarco (philosophy of biology and medicine), Massimo Pigliucci (Stoic philosophy), and Kate Temoney (religious ethics and human rights). Students don't just attend the talks. They have dinner with the speaker.

It's giving... the world. Help students study abroad in Athens, Thailand, and beyond.

It's giving... mountain Stoicism. Wyoming Stoic Camp is our annual tradition of adventure, meditation, and philosophical contemplation in the Wyoming mountains.

It's giving... community. Keep the Susanna L. Goodin Memorial Student Lounge stocked with snacks and drinks for studying and conversation.

It's giving... a head start. Our outreach introduces Wyoming high school students to philosophy and religion. Philosophy majors score among the highest on the LSAT, GMAT, and MCAT and tend to out-earn graduates in other humanities fields.

It's giving... better teaching. Support faculty travel to national and international conferences for research and teaching development.
