Bird Watchers of UW is a student organization for birders and wildlife enthusiasts of all experience levels.
As a newer organization, we’re building a community that encourages people to get outside, connect with nature, and learn about the wildlife around us. Through educational events, guest speakers, and hands-on outdoor experiences, we hope to make birding accessible, engaging, and fun for everyone. So far, this year we have taken students birding in Laramie, done field trips to local nature sights and collaborated with local groups like the Laramie Audubon Society.
We have grown the club nearly double the size within the first few months. With this new addition comes new challenges. Your support would allow us to continue to expand our club and give us resources to keep hosting fun, creative and educational events. For example, your assistance could help with event supplies, transportation to and from birding sites and so much more.
We have so many opportunities planned that could benefit from your generosity. Thank you!
This Student Organization receives a de minimus level of base support from the university as noted in full in the About section of the Tier 2 Student Organization campaign tile.
