We are the newly chartered Kappa Alpha Order chapter at the University of Wyoming, built on a foundation of leadership, excellence, and hands-on service. Over the last academic year, our chapter has seen incredible momentum, successfully tripling our membership. As a young and rapidly expanding brotherhood, we are deeply excited to grow our roots and become a highly established, positive pillar of the campus community.
Though we are a new chapter, our brothers have already set a rigorous standard for excellence in Laramie through our commitments to academics, safety, and service. We operate as a scholarship-first order utilizing robust individualized academic success plans to ensure our members excel in the classroom and prepare for their future careers. We also lead by example in campus safety, mandating in our chapter bylaws that every single member must become Green Dot-certified through the violence prevention center prior to initiation.
Furthermore, we prioritize hands-on community philanthropy over simple fundraising. We proudly partner with Special Olympics Wyoming and the local Vitalant blood center, and we recently hosted a wildly successful puppy playdate with the Laramie Animal Welfare Society (LAWS) that brought together over 300 campus participants to support animal rescue. Because we are a newly chartered chapter, early financial support is critical to establishing long-term operational stability. Your Giving Day contribution directly empowers our growth by funding leadership development opportunities such as sending our emerging leaders and executive officers to the national Officer Training Conference in Dallas. Your support also help us create internal chapter scholarships to reward high-achieving brothers and provide the operational budget needed to host even larger philanthropic events for the Laramie community.
With your generosity this Giving Day, you are not just funding a chapter—you are investing in a growing brotherhood dedicated to shaping the next generation of leaders and modern gentlemen at the University of Wyoming.
