ASUW wants to ensure there are “no more empty saddles” from orientation to graduation.
Mental health is a priority at the University of Wyoming, especially in a state with the highest suicide rate per capita nationally. Despite the university’s commitment to providing resources, many remain unaware of them, and existing support may fall short of meeting everyone’s needs.
In response to recent tragedies, ASUW launched the “No More Empty Saddles” initiative to promote open dialogue and improve access to mental health resources. Our goal is to make mental health conversations a natural part of life for all Pokes. We aim to expand services by raising awareness, securing funding, and addressing gaps in current offerings.
Your Giving Day contribution will help ASUW enhance campus mental health services, create new resources, and increase awareness of available support. Please support our mission to bring mental health conversations to all students, provide help where it’s needed, and contribute to the success of the “No More Empty Saddles” initiative.
Thank you!
