Sigma Nu

Sigma Nu fraternity was founded in 1869 at Virginia Military Institute. Sigma Nu currently has 172 active chapters and colonies on college campuses throughout the United States and Canada and has initiated over 230,000 members since its founding. Known to this day as the Legion of Honor, Sigma Nu is the only social fraternity founded in firm opposition to hazing and based on the principle of Honor.

The Epsilon Delta chapter of Sigma Nu at the University of Wyoming was founded in 1920 and had been on campus until 2010. The chapter began its recolonization in the fall of 2013 and received its charter in the fall of 2015.
