UW Range Club (Student Organization)

Managing diverse landscapes takes a lot of know-how. From animal science and plant production to water quality and soil health, rangeland managers need to know it all. Training up for such a position takes a lot of work, and the students who go above and beyond the classroom flourish.

Range Club is a student-run group that strives to give its members a like-minded community while at school and a step ahead in their future careers. We bring in experts and industry professionals to teach us what we don’t learn in class, and we hold weekly practices to keep us sharp for annual competitions to prove our rangeland know-how. Our graduating members have a higher-than-average success rate in job placement because of the networking opportunities and advanced skill development we provide.
