Art Museum (UWAM)

Art nourishes, and with your support, the University of Wyoming Art Museum continues to serve as a cultural beacon for our state and beyond. This year, your contribution will directly support our Master Teacher Endowment, which funds essential educational programs for Pre-K–12 students and provides invaluable experiences for UW Student Teaching Artists.

Under the guidance of our Master Teacher, Teaching Artists gain hands-on real-world experience through leading programs like Art Explorers, a weekly event for young children and caregivers; Art Buffet, a family-oriented monthly event; and Art Connect, an after-school enrichment program. These opportunities allow our Teaching Artists to develop their teaching and leadership skills, preparing them for careers in the arts.

In addition, our Summer Art Camp offers a week-long immersive experience where student artists work closely with young learners to foster creativity and engagement.
