About

Smash Lab!

Hands-on learning is central to the Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering programs. This includes pouring, curing, and breaking concrete specimens. Students do this in a class they call "Smash Lab."

Concrete plays a critical role in the construction of infrastructure projects such as bridges and buildings. Because of its strength and durability, it is able to withstand heavy loads, intense environmental factors, and prolonged exposure to harsh conditions. It is foundational—pun-intended—to the field of civil and architectural engineering and essential for the education of our future engineers.

Your donation will help support the equipment, supplies, and personnel needed for this messy and fun class. Thank you for your support!
