About

Please consider supporting UW Arabic and Middle East Studies Program! With your support, we can send students to participate in experiential learning activities both here in the U.S. and abroad in the Middle East, many of which would otherwise be unable to participate because they cannot pay for the costs of the experience that are not covered by scholarships.

There are two big opportunities that students can participate in every year. The first is the Model Arab League conference in March in Washington, D.C., where students learn to work collaboratively and strengthen skills in diplomacy. The second is a trip to the Middle East in partnership with the Center for International Experiential Learning to study the Israel/Palestine conflict up close through engagement with various actors on both sides of the conflict. These opportunities help Wyoming students experience and influence matters of international importance while building crucial skills that are applicable across many different kinds of career paths.

Take a look at this video to see what our students are up to and what your donation will be supporting! Thank you for supporting these vital experiences!
