About

As autumn ramps up, Wyoming’s migratory big game herds are giving it their best to get to winter range, and you can give them a boost! While deer, elk and other animals are making challenging migrations over mountain passes, you can help the Wyoming Migration Initiative keep working with our many collaborators to understand migrations—so that the herds can keep moving long into the future.

Wyoming is an international leader in mapping migration corridors, and our team at the Wyoming Migration Initiative has played a major role in helping educate citizens about migration research while providing a successful model for science-based conservation. It is a great start, but there is more work to do.

This is where you can help. Your gift supports our outreach using GPS collar studies, films, and maps to advance the understanding and conservation of migration corridors. We're grateful for gifts of any size because they all help continue our work documenting and sharing Wyoming's spectacular migrations. And on Giving Day, your donation is eligible to be doubled by matching funds—that's twice the amount of impact.

Many thanks, and happy Giving Day 2022!
