About

Please consider supporting the Wyoming Geographic Information Science Center (WyGISC) as we strive to improve service to our constituents and help to develop the Geospatial information science and technology (GIST) workforce in Wyoming and beyond.

This year, the WyGISC campaign aims to support students in our interdisciplinary GIST certificate and degree programs by expanding student access to professional development opportunities.

  • Student Professional Development – Funds raised will help support professional development activities for students. This includes attendance and participation in scientific meetings, specialized workshops, and short courses. Through these activities, students will experience the breadth of geospatial science inquiry and learn about the advances in geospatial technology, as well as have opportunities to network with fellow GIST professionals and potential employers.
  • Student Engagement with GIST Professionals – Funds raised will help bring working GIST professionals to student-centered events on campus such as our Forum and and GIS Day. Expert speakers will share their knowledge, provide insight into specific GIST topics, and present opportunities for students to interact with practicing professionals.

Thank you for supporting our GIST students!
