Gifts to UW Food Security contribute to...
About
More than 1 in 3 University of Wyoming students are food insecure, and their stories often go untold. The efforts of the Food Security Taskforce, Associated Students of the University of Wyoming (ASUW), and the Food Security Program reduce food insecurity and address student needs in a manner that affirms dignity.
We need your help in sustaining the following food security programs:
- ACRES Student Farm,
- meal swipe sharing through UW Dining Services,
- food share pantries,
- food share cabinets,
- good food recovery and sharing, and
- scaling of the UW Food Security Program.
Read feedback we have received from students below:
- “This program has been so helpful. Food insecurity is a huge problem that not many people think about. I am glad to know UW is doing things to help.”
- “This support means so much to me. My special thanks go to everyone who have made this possible.”
- "It's such a good service for students. I highly appreciate it!"
If you are able, we ask that you please consider not only supporting us on Giving Day but also a monthly recurring donation on UW's crowdfunding site, as the food security needs are ongoing.
Thank you for giving to the UW Food Security Program today to ensure that every Poke is nourished!
