Engaged Community, Empowered Education, Inspired Change!
The School of Culture, Gender, and Social Justice seeks to combine academic expertise with community engagement and educational opportunities to foster dialogue and understanding to empower positive inspirational change at the local, state, national, and global levels. Our school has an interdisciplinary approach grounded in its rural roots and focused on the inclusion and empowerment of all people, and we provide students with an education that gives them the tools to understand both today’s and tomorrow’s complex social issues and to be leaders and problem solvers regarding the same.
A donation to the school supports our academic programs and other initiatives:
- African American and Diaspora Studies,
- American Studies,
- Gender and Women’s Studies,
- Latinx Studies,
- Native American and Indigenous Studies,
- Community Conversations Speaker Series,

We invite you to become part of our inclusive community by giving to one of our feature funds. Gifts from 50 donors unlocks a $10,000 challenge gift. Any amount is welcome. No gift is too small.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!
