About

Computers are everywhere and are interwoven in the fabric of our lives. UW's School of Computing's mission is to help all students and people across the state make the best use of technology in their daily lives and jobs.

At UW, one of the goals of the School of Computing is to provide students with applied real-world experience in computing and data science. To help us achieve that goal, we are focusing on experiential learning opportunities and internships this Giving Day. All funds raised this year will be used to support student scholarships for travel, stipends, or materials necessary to provide the opportunity for students to gain this critical learning tool.

We will have matching funds for the first hour, so you can double your impact if you donate from noon 1:00 on October 19th!

The School of Computing was approved by the Board of Trustees in February of 2021 and aims to provide University of Wyoming students, faculty, staff, and Wyoming businesses and citizens with the computational tools, skills, and approaches to drive transformation and innovation in the state. The School of Computing will champion broader efforts to make the University of Wyoming more digital, inclusive, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial through computing partnerships across Wyoming.

Thank you for your contribution!
