About

Help support the only scholarship specifically for law students focused on studying and working in energy! The energy industry is the bedrock of Wyoming's economy. Salt Creek Scholars are the future of the industry in our state and region. The Salt Creek Energy Excellence Scholarship provides monetary support and professional networking opportunities for the UW College of Law's best and brightest energy students.

The Salt Creek Energy Excellence Challenge aims to increase the endowment supporting the scholarship to allow more scholarships to be awarded over time and to increase the amount of awards. lo date. ten Salt Creek Scholars have been awarded since our first recipient in 2016!

Originally established in 2015 by University of Wyoming alums and benefactors practicing in the areas of oil and gas and energy law, the Salt Creek Energy Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students demonstrating academic achievement and a commitment to the study and practice of energy law.
