Help those who need it most through supporting the John Burman fund!
The scope of the John Burman Fund for Clinical Education is to further student opportunities in the Civil Legal Services and Family and Child Legal Advocacy Clinics at the College of Law. Each year law students enrolled in these legal clinics work hard to bridge the justice gap that exists in our state by providing comprehensive legal representation and promoting access to justice for low-income and marginalized populations in Wyoming.
Thanks to Professor Burman’s influence on clinical legal education at the law school, students enrolled in the clinics continue to represent and provide legal assistance and information to people throughout the state. Students in the clinics develop the legal skills and competencies necessary to launch successful careers in the legal profession.
Gifts made to the John Burman Fund will allow the clinics to expand the amazing work they do and ensure that our graduates remain competitive in today’s legal market and that people in our state receive access to the justice system.
Thank you for your support of the Civil Legal Services and Family and Child Legal Advocacy Clinics and the work our students perform for the people of Wyoming!
