As the President of the Wyoming Anthropology Club and distinguished student of the George Frison Institute of Anthropology, I am trying to fund several much-needed areas of Anthropology student needs in the form of scholarships, lab and study space, emergency funds, research/conference travel funds, and general seed money for the Wyoming Anthropology Club (WAC).
The George Frison Institute of Anthropology hosts some of the nations most renowned anthropologists and archaeologists. However, the funding for student needs is slim. Many students depend on minute scholarships or grants to help fund their research endeavors and this does not include the funding needed for traveling to and from conferences to p[resent their research. There is no [program money for emergency needs, only a couple of highly competitive scholarships, and no designated spaces for students to conduct their research or study.
I am asking for help to provide these vital academic necessities to provide anthropology students all the tools needed to be successful!
Thank You!
