About

The Electrical Engineering and Computer Science department invites you to support the technology of tomorrow.

Electrical engineers design control and communication systems, sensors, displays, machine learning, robots, instruments, speech recognition, computer vision, electronics, motors, power systems, the internet of things, and so much more. The list goes on and on.

Computer science professionals work in the areas of graphics, software engineering, networks, databases, multimedia, and artificial intelligence. Rocketing job growth in this field is driven by the fundamental impact of computer science in nearly every industry.

Computer engineering is a blend of computer science and electrical engineering, and this degree consists of both hardware and software courses.

We're excited to announce that the departments of Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science are newly merged, allowing us to work even more closely together!

We are looking forward to connecting with alums, former faculty, and friends. Please drop by or send us a note to let us hear your thoughts on how we can better prepare our students and impact Wyoming and the region. Also check out our new website at http://www.uwyo.edu/eecs to see some of our teaching engagement and research activities and ways you can be in loves.

Please consider supporting the exciting future we're creating!
