About

The purpose of the Fund is to honor the legacy and work of Dr. David Bell who provided twenty-eight years of service to the University of Wyoming.

Dr. Bell is an associate professor of chemical and petroleum engineering. He has been a member of Wyoming's Carbon Engineering Initiative, coal conversion technology, mineral processing, oil refining, the chemistry of semiconductor processing, and explosives technology. He earned a bachelor's from the University of Washington, a master's from Rice University, and a Ph.D. from Colorado State University in chemical engineering.

In honor of Dr. Bell, the fund will foster excellence and provide financial support to the University of Wyoming Department of Chemical Engineering by supporting a graduate seminar series.
