Mark Bittner Early Care and Education Excellence Fund

This campaign ends on July 2 at 01:59AM EDT

Mark Bittner, the Director of the ECEC and its predecessor the UW Child Care and Child Development Centers, is retiring this summer after over 30 years of service to the University of Wyoming and the ECEC community. During his tenure, Mark touched the lives of hundreds of children and families in Laramie. Mark invests personally in every family, supports the professional development of every employee, and engages with UW students at a level that has often convinced them to change their career paths.

In recognition of Mark’s incredible work and dedication to the education of young children, we are establishing a fund in his honor, the Mark Bittner Early Care and Education Excellence Fund. Proceeds from the fund will be used to support needs at the ECEC to allow the center to continue its long tradition of excellence.

We are extremely honored that Karen and Steve Williams have already committed $10,000 to launch this fund. I hope you will consider joining them in contributing to the Mark Bittner Early Care and Education Excellence Fund. Your gift would be a meaningful way to honor Mark’s commitment and legacy, and provide an ongoing source of funds to support the ECEC and its continued commitment to high-quality early childhood education.

Thank you for your consideration!
