Help End Food Insecurity

Help us make sure no poke goes hungry!  

Your financial contribution will help us keep the food share pantry and cabinets stocked as we work simultaneously to meet growing demands and expand our services. During this time, food costs have increased dramatically. As more and more students become aware of food security resources, we expect to see even further increased usage. 

When comparing year-to-year numbers, we are distributing around 50% more pounds of food to nearly twice as many visitors. Additionally, the food share pantry has increased support to food share cabinets across campus, distributing about 1,500 pounds of food to these partners in November alone.

What impact does your donation have?   

• $7.25  covers one student meal plus one snack from the UW Food Share Pantry.  
• $11.80  covers the cost of one student meal swipe at Washakie Dining Center.  
• $25  covers the cost of a weekly meal bag for one student from the UW Food Share Pantry.  
• $125  provides one student with meals and hygiene products for a month from the UW Food Share Pantry.  
• $415  provides one student with a CSA share for the whole growing season from ACRES Student Farm.  
• $500  provides one student with meals and hygiene products for one semester from the UW Food Share Pantry.  
• $600  provides one student with meal swipes from Washakie Dining Center for one full semester.
